Doe Foot Cottage is superbly situated in a very peaceful riverside location, with private parking and peaceful garden. It’s only a few minutes walk from the village shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. This delightful cottage takes its name from the River Doe which meets the River Twiss at the bottom of the garden, at the foot of the magnificent viaduct.

All on one level, furnished and decorated to a high standard, it’s ideal for couples and well positioned for the outdoors; walking and cycling, exploring the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District, or simply a romantic get away.

Ingleton – Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales

Ingleton is a small village in North Yorkshire at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and is very popular with walkers, cyclists and climbers. It is situated approximately mid-way between Kendal and Skipton and has easy access to the A65, the main road linking Leeds with the Lake District.

A FEW WORDS FROM OUR GUESTS

Doe Foot cottage is an amazingly secluded cottage yet in the centre of this lovely village. It is owned by a charming couple who cannot do enough to help. A return visit is a must.

The cottage was neat, clean and very well organised. Sally and David had prepared for us very well, even to providing a bottle of Christmas cheer and a box of chocolates! A lovely couple and a lovely cottage! Highly recommended. The area is beautiful and once settled in we didn’t need to drive again because we could set out on beautiful walks straight from the front door. Thank you for a lovely, quiet, Christmas break! I hope we will be able to stay there again.

The cottage was very well kitted out, with some lovely personal touches like local bread and cakes to welcome us. The property is attached to the owners home and although our host was very friendly when we arrived, she then left us to it for our stay, which we greatly appreciated…it felt very private. We would definitely go again and recommend it.
